Grief & Loss Therapy in California
Honoring what was while making space for what is emerging
Grief can take many forms. It may follow the death of a loved one or pet, a divorce or breakup, infertility or pregnancy loss, or the loss of trust, health, safety, or identity. It can also show up during life transitions such as empty nesting, or in more complex ways like anticipatory, prolonged, or complicated grief. However it presents, grief is not something to “get over,” but something to move through with care, support, and understanding.
Making space for your experience
Grief does not follow a linear path. It can feel heavy, confusing, or isolating at times, and may shift from moment to moment. In our work, we create space for your experience as it is—without pressure to move on or be anywhere other than where you are.
An integrative and compassionate approach
My approach integrates evidence-based practices with an understanding of how personal history, relationships, and cultural context shape the way we experience loss. Together, we move at a pace that feels supportive, helping you process what has been lost while staying connected to emotions and your life.
This may be a good fit if you:
Are navigating the loss of a loved one, relationship, or life transition
Feel overwhelmed, numb, or unsure how to process your grief
Are experiencing ongoing or complicated grief
Want a space to feel supported, understood, and not rushed
Are seeking a way to move forward while still honoring what was
